In Swordgun, I was responsible for designing the core gameplay, programming enemy AI, as well as leading and directing the team. I also modeled, rigged, and animated the characters. As this was my first game development project, it was my initial foray into game design and leading such a team. This taught me a lot about communicating my ideas and being an effective leader.
My favorite job in Swordgun was designing, pitching, and directing the core gameplay to the team. Being able to finally practice game design itself, laying it all out and balancing each feature with the others was incredibly fun, and jumpstarted my love for game design!
